Bookings for barbecues and saunas could soon be set to rise in Phuket in the coming months with promotions and reduced airfares for both V Australia and Scandinavian Airlines.
V Australia, is now offering special fares to Phuket from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, with connecting flights on Pacific Blue.

All fares on the new services will earn points on the Velocity rewards program, which can be redeemed on V Australia, Virgin Blue, Pacific Blue, and Polynesian Blue flights, as well as on partner airlines.

Scandinavian Airlines is hoping their 20% reduced Economy class ticket prices between Bangkok and Scandinavia will persuade more Swedes to visit. SAS has also taken an initiative to include all taxes and surcharges in its quoted ticket prices.
