"Friends of Graham Frost Dinner"
(2007-10-03 16:39:07)
“One of the most wonderful parts of living in Phuket, is that we live in a community where people still care and support each other,” says Chantal Fernandes, long-term resident on the island.

And a group of caring individuals have gotten together to do just that; support Graham Frost, a fellow Phuket resident for many years pictured here with his nurse.

Graham, described by his friends as a, “smart, decent Englishman”, managed a couple of businesses on the island before tragedy struck.

He was in a serious car accident here, on the island, three years ago.

As he was not treated properly, he suffered severe brain damage and has been in a wheelchair ever since.

He is trying to walk short distances and can communicate, but it is very difficult. His mother gave up her job to take care of him, full time.

His medical insurance stopped, a while ago and his family has been using their savings for his medical bills.

As part of his rehabilitation, they would love to bring him back to Phuket in November but they need some help with his ticket.

The Watermark Restaurant, Boat Lagoon will be kindly sponsoring an evening of fun including a 4 course dinner, Live Auction & Raffle.

“Graham was real a part of that community and I am sure if this had happened to any one of us, he would be the one assisting with the organising of an event!” says Chantal.

It will be a fun evening, held on :-
