With several new stores, restaurants, bars, and a cinema complex all opened in the last month, Jungceylon is accelerating into first position as a shopping and leisure destination on Phuket. In addition to all the normal activity at this mega-mall, this weekend Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st, the International Business Association of Phuket will host the 4th Annual IBAP Business Fair in association with Principal Partner – AbsolutePhuket.com at Jungceylon.

This vibrant display by local business houses provides a fantastic opportunity for residents and visitors to be exposed to a selection of products and services available from IBAP members. With exhibitors ranging from bakers to lawyers, landscapers to publishers, IT services to property developers, there will be something for everyone, and the broad range of activities available in Jungceylon will allow family members who aren’t as fascinated by the Business Fair, to indulge themselves in other activities such as shopping, dining, entertainment etc.

Each year, some exhibitors will make extra efforts to ensure that their booth receives the fullest attention possible. This year it appears that Seara Sports may outdo other IBAP members with the activities taking place on their stand. They have 3 fun activities going on over the weekend, including a BIG Birthday Cake to celebrate their 7th Birthday. The cake will be cut at 3pm on Sunday 21st October – be there to join in the fun.

For those who are more exercise minded The SEARA Treadmill Charity Walk will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Instead of a static display of equipment, the treadmill will be walked/run on over the duration of the Business Fair, clocking up the kilometers. It is likely that between 100 and 200 km will be the total distance covered. SEARA are looking for sponsors, and for volunteer walkers/runners, if you are interested to support or participate in this fun charitable activity, contact boom@searasports.com or visit the SEARA display this weekend. All funds raised will be passed to Thaitanics, who have pledged to forward the funds to the Phuket AIDS Foundation.

For added interest, SEARA will also conduct two rowing competitions using equipment on their stand. The competition is for the fastest time to row 500m for men and for women. Competition starts from 11am Saturday, and concludes with an announcement of the winner at 9pm on Sunday. There will be prizes for each winner, and lots of fun along the way.

Be sure to make your way to the 4th Annual IBAP Business Fair, brought to you in association with Principal Partner AbsolutePhuket.com, this weekend.
