Old Phuket town is all set to come alight this festive season.

The Phuket Old Town Foundation have announced this year's chapter of the “Local Life Festival” on Sunday 9th December 2007, from 6 pm until late. The festival will be held along Talang Road and Soi Rommanee.

This celebration aims to bring back old memories and promote the protection of the old town and hopes to unite everybody that lives in or visits Phuket breathe in the atmosphere and regale in the nostalgic celebration.

This is the second year of this annual event. Organisers are confident that visitors will be impressed with the charm and ambience of Soi Rommanee.

The festival will highlight local food, art and culture, with musical shows, and cultural shows from the students of many school in Phuket. More than 40 singers from the Sia Mern province in China will be performing at the event..
