The décor of Peninsura follows a very wooden and natural theme, with the interior filled with traditional antique ornaments.
The location of this year-old restaurant is equally as natural, with trees and flowers all around.
I chose stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts (85 baht) and stream rice (15 baht). This is one of the most popular dishes from the Peninsura menu. The dish contains many pieces of large tender chunks of chicken and lots of cashew nuts. It was absolutely delicious and was at an affordable price.
My partner ate a dish of stir fried macaroni with Shrimp (65 baht). The course was rich with warm the delicious macaroni sauce and was also full of many big pieces of fresh shrimps. This course was very sweet but also sour by the ketchup and crushed fresh tomatoes.
For a drink we shared a pot of authentic Chinese tea that was more than enough for two
(35 baht). The relaxing beverage complimented the atmosphere perfectly.
There is live music every night at Peninsura.
