The people of the Witchit constituency will now be able to pay their taxes, apply for permits and avail of various other services in comfort and style.
A new 70 million baht building houses the headquarters of Tessaban Wichit.
The need for the new premises arose when the old Or Bor Tor constituency was upgraded to its current status of Tessaban in November 2007. The old building was unable to accommodate the additional staff and facilities required to provide the services of a Tesssaban office.
Over a hundred personnel are now employed at Tessaban Witchit, and Khun Keeta Saton, President of the Tessaban is confident that the smart new building with its many facilities will be able to provide excellent service to the people.
The building houses conference rooms, tax offices, and a building permit information center with dedicated staff, in order to be able to serve the people quickly and efficiently. To keep the staff in good health and therefore their cheerful best at work, there is a fitness center which they are allowed to use after work hours.
The new building with its modern design and a pleasing architecture aims to be a comfortable, friendly space, rather than a forbidding government building and plenty of space, seating and facilities such as water coolers are to be found, in order to make visitors feel welcome.
Khun Seeta says the improvement in level of services is showing already, and is delighted with the positive feedback the office has received from users.
