During the course of the various sailing courses held by Sunsail Asia, their instructors were persistently asked about other sailing opportunities in Asia.
As a result, Sunsail Asia are now delighted to offer sailing enthusiasts a unique opportunity to join their MileCatchers Voyage from Koh Samui (Thailand) to Langkawi (Malaysia) in late September 2007.
All year round, Sunsail Asia offers opportunities to join in on longer, more challenging passages known as ‘MileCatchers’ in popular destinations.
Covering more mileage than most would tend to on a traditional yachting holiday, they are the perfect way to increase sea miles towards RYA qualifications and build confidence on board.
“Our MileCatchers Voyages are a unique initiative to allow sailing enthusiasts the opportunity to accrue sea miles while learning valuable offshore sailing skills under the supervision of Sunsail’s
professional skippers.” said a spokesman for the company. “Sunsail MileCatchers Voyages run regularly throughout the year aboard our fleet of luxury Beneteau and Jeanneau yachts amongst some of the most untouched sailing grounds in the world.
“In a completely interactive environment, you will learn techniques in coastal navigation, sail handling, rope work, watch keeping, safety precautions, meteorology and much, much more. Completion of a Sunsail MileCatchers Voyage gives you the ability to log approximately 500 NM
and night hours in tidal waters.”
Sunsail invites you to join MileCatchers as whole boat bookings, groups of friends, couples or as a single who just wants to get on board for the experience- book an individual place and get some serious sea miles under your belt!
