The Phuket Andaman Halal 2010 - a festival that celebrates the Islamic faith and culture – will be held in Saphan Hin, from 18-20 June.

The OrBorJor who is responsible for organising the venue, activities, performances, products, and security is confident that it will be able to make a “perfect fair” just like last year.

President of the OrBorJor, Paiboon Upatising said, “The highlight performances of the year will be from Malaysian band ‘RAIHAN' and variety of Muslim songs from Muslim Wittaya School and Anuban Phuket School.”

There will also be a Muslim fashion show, a Muslim lifestyle show, exhibitions, and a variety of Halal food sellers.

Khun Paiboon said, “The fair was a huge success and although our budget has been reduced it will still be a good fair. So I would like to invite all the local people and also tourists to visit and have a great time.”

Halal is a term designating any object or an action which is permissible to use or engage in, according to Islamic law.
