Phuket Bottle Slinger Club will hold the Bartender Challenge to find the Best Bartender in Southern Thailand. The contest will be held on 24 March 2007 at Patong Bay Garden Resort, Patong and starts at 18.00 hrs.

The objectives of this contest are: to promote tourism in Phuket, and to showcase the new styles of toss juggling, manipulation and mixing drinks such as the Flair Bartending style, the Working Flair and the Exhibition Flair which is an international style and well-known all around the world.

The contest winner will go on to compete in the Finlandia national contest. The theme of this contest is yellow; to celebrate H.M. The King's 60 years of Accession to the Throne. A King of another kind... the Thai King of Rock ? Rhang Rockestra will keep the audience's feet tapping throughout the evening.

The contestants will be judged on their style, grace and dexterity, their ability to impress their audience and their expertise in using their equipment.
