The area of Kathu, ideally located in the centre of Phuket has grown in popularity over the last few years. The reasons are simple; its just 10 mins away from many popular beaches, the climate is slightly cooler as its set in a vast valley, many golf courses are nearby, international hospitals and schools are within a short driving distance, plus lots of good local restaurants serving cheap and delicious local food.
