Bring your kids for an afternoon of fun and help raise money for the children devastated by the recent Haiti earthquake.
This Saturday, 30th January at 2pm, ABC nursery in Rawai are throwing open their doors for an afternoon of fun for kids of all ages. Activities at this fun packed 'playathon' will include lots of water fun, access to all play areas (climbing frames, sand pits, swings, playhouses), arts and crafts, face painting, a giant raffle and cake stand.
Haiti is the one of the poorest countries in the world and is struggling to recover from this massive natural disaster. More than half of the country's 9.6 million inhabitants are under 21 years of age.
All children have rights — these are most at risk of being denied in emergencies. Children's organisation UNICEF is working to ensure that the rights of children affected in Haiti are not forgotten. UNICEF is urgently raising funds helping these children get access to clean water, shelter and medical care as a priority.
To let your child help a child in need, all you have to do is pay 250 THB entrance fee at ABC this Saturday all of which will be donated to children's charity UNICEF. Parents are invited to bake cakes for the cake stand. Donations are also being sought from local businesses for the raffle.
An afternoon of fun and helping a child in need is guaranteed. Contact Lesley for more information on 089 9711 813 .
