Thai movie makers are obviously intrigued by the hilarity of their own industry, as Pohtak is the second film release in a month to parody the pitfalls of movie-making in the Kingdom (the first being the third segment of Samyan). Plenty of pratfalls, silliness and misogyny would appear to be the formula for a successful Thai film.
