Thailand?s busiest movie-maker, Yuthlert Sippapak, is one of three directors on the first big screen outing for nascent production house, Film R Us ? a division of RS Productions.
K Yuthlert is joined by Ping Lumprapleung amd Kotee Aramboy on Sam Yan, which tells three very different stories that all take place in the Bangkok district of the title.
The first follows the hilarious attempts of a bus driver to get rid of a dead body he has found on his bus. The second is about a pair of robbers on the run from a hitman and the third goes inside the world of Thai cinema as a hard put-upon director tries desperately to finish a movie with a famous, but feckless, actor.
Girly Berry singing sensation, Piya ?Giftza? Pongkulapa, makes her big screen debut in Sam Yan, alongside Thai movie stalwarts, Kom Chuanchuen, Adirek ?Uncle? Wattleela and the folk music and comedy troupe, Ponglang Sa-on.
